Terms of service

Booking

• A valid credit or debit card on file is required to reserve every appointment. We do not charge a deposit at booking.
• All appointment times are shown in Eastern Time (America/New_York).
• You are responsible for providing accurate contact information so we can send you confirmations, reminders, and any updates about your appointment.

Payment

• Services are paid at the studio at the conclusion of your appointment.
• Any add-ons or fees agreed to at your appointment will be charged only with your authorization.
• Payments are processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number.

Cancellation, late arrival, and no-show

Our cancellation policy is part of these terms. In summary:

• We request 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Cancellations less than 12 hours in advance: 25% charge.
• No-shows: 50% charge.
• Arriving more than 10 minutes late: $10 fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late: your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled and a 25% charge applies.

Fees are applied manually by the studio; they are not automatic. If a charge fails, we will contact you directly.

SMS messaging terms

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive transactional text messages from The Canvas Nail Studio for appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and account sign-in verification (2FA) codes.

• Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. You can also text or call 813.364.2545.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We use Telnyx as our SMS delivery provider. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. See our privacy policy for details.

Accounts

• If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your email inbox secure. We sign you in with magic links, so anyone with access to your email can access your account.
• You may request account deletion at any time by emailing support@thecanvasnailstudio.com.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt our site, interfere with other users, or use our services for unlawful purposes.
• We may decline or cancel service at our discretion, particularly in cases of repeated no-shows, abusive behavior toward staff, or fraudulent payment activity.

Intellectual property

All site content, including photography, text, and design, is owned by The Canvas Nail Studio or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Services and the site are provided on an “as-is” basis. We make no warranty that the site or our services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
